Roy Rogers Restaurants will open a new location in Cherry Hill in the spring of 2025, the company said in a news release. The chain signed a lease for a 3,300-square-foot space on Haddonfield Road.

The company said the restaurant will be the only burger drive-thru on the busy road.

"We could not be happier to bring our [U.S. Department of Agriculture] choice top round roast beef, juicy burgers, and fresh, hand-breaded fried chicken back to Cherry Hill," said Jim Plamondon, co-president of Roy Rogers.

The Cherry Hill location marks the chain’s first return to South Jersey in more than 40 years. Roy Rogers has two existing locations on the Jersey Shore in Brick Township and Pine Beach.

The new restaurant will blend the brand’s signature rustic style with modern updates, including ordering kiosks, digital drive-thru boards, and other tech upgrades for a seamless dining experience.

"We’ve received an overwhelming number of requests from loyal fans for a location in this area, and we’re delighted to make it a reality," said real estate and franchise development director Joe Briglia.

The menu will feature the chain’s signature beef, burgers, and chicken. The restaurant will also have Roy Rogers' iconic Fixin’s Bar, stocked with fresh toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles.

According to its website, Roy Rogers was founded in Falls Church, Virginia, in 1968. It has grown to 39 locations across the mid-Atlantic.

Roy Rogers also planned to open a second restaurant in Leesburg, VA, on Robinson Mill Road.
